  1. Salah Eddin Road Rehabilitation / Gaza: Comprehensive redevelopment design for 4700m of the northern section of Salah Edditn road between the Beit Lahia and Omar El-Mukhtar intersection.  The project included the preparation of detailed design and tender documents for the following:  Geometric and pavement design, traffic design based on 4-lane divided highway, design of the main trunks for the sewage collection networks from Gaza and Jabalia, stormwater drainage, relocation of overhead high-tension power lines, telephone lines and water distribution network.  The feasibility of two-level intersection at Omar El-Mukhtar intersection was also considered.  Client: Municipality of Gaza, 1988.

  1. Wadi El Salka Road: Detailed design of 2800 m of the main road in Wadi El Salka. The work included the study of different options for stormwater drainage. Client: PECDAR 1998.

  1. Middle East Regional Transport Study: Local consultant for the project.  The objective of the study is to provide forecasts of the effect of the Peace Process on the regional traffic corridors for the years 2000,2010 and 2020.  Client: European Communities, 1996. 

  1. Future Transportation Infrastructure Needs for the Palestinian People in the West Bank and Gaza Strip: A comprehensive study presenting a general description of the evaluation of the transportation sectors in Palestine and analysis the existing transportation infrastructure in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. The study also proposes guidelines for developing a transportation system for the future Independent State of Palestine covering road, rail, sea, air and public transportation networks and related industries including a corridor connecting the inland region with the coastal region.  Client: United Nations Center for Human Settlement, (Habitat), 1989.

  1. Village Access Roads (Inland Region): Comprehensive design for rehabilitation and maintenance of existing village access roads, widening of 3 m roads to 6 m roads, and the construction of new roads. The work includes geometric and pavement design, intersection details, retaining walls and culverts design and drainage. The total length of access roads in the project is about 180km.  Client: PECDAR, 1994.

  1. Salfeet Road Network: Final design and working drawings for the proposed internal roads 47km.  The work included detailed geometric and pavement design, traffic design, intersection details and preparation of tender documents.  In addition, the project included substantial quantities of retaining walls, culverts and water distribution, stormwater, drainage and sewerage networks. 

  1. Tulkarm - Shweikeh Connector: Detailed design of a 120m 4-lane divided road from Tulkarm to Shweikeh access.  The work included geometric and pavement design, traffic design, intersection details and design of main sewage collection and stormwater drainage trucks.  Client: Municipality of Tulkarm, 1987.

  1. Anabta Main Road: Comprehensive design for 1800m 4-lane divided highway between Nablus and Tulkarm running through the town of Anabta.  The work included detailed geometric and pavements design, traffic design, intersection details and preparation of tender document.  Client: Municipality of Anabta, 1989.

  1. Illar-Kufr Rai’-Arrameh Road: Detailed design for two-lane connector road linking the districts of Jenin and Tulkarm in the northern part of the Inland region at the villages of Kuf Rai’ and Illar.  The total length of the road is about 7500m.  The work included detailed geometric and pavement design, retaining walls and culverts, and full supervision of construction.  Client: UNDP, 1994.

  1. Al-Ram Main Road: Detailed design of 3100m of the main road in Al-Ram.  The work included geometric and pavement design, traffic design, intersection details, tender documents and overall sites supervision.  Client: Al-Ram Village Council, 1986.

  1. Emergency Road Rehabilitation Program (ERRP): The recently launched project is financed by USAID, and implemented by CH2MHILL, an international consulting firm, in coordination with the relevant municipalities. The Project purpose is to acquire quick response, road rehabilitation services to restore the affected transportation infrastructure in five Palestinian Governorates in the West Bank and Gaza to its original condition. CEP has been sub-contracted by CH2MHILL to carry out the construction management services for the Project in Ramallah, including Al bireh and Beitunia, Nablus and Jenin. The Task Orders under the Project involve complete reconstruction for some roads and rehabilitation for others, including milling, patching and repaving, and curbstone constructuion. Task Orders also include redesign of some roads. Client: CH2MHILL, Project Value: US$10-12 million, 2003.

  1. Jericho: Internal road network masterplan (65km).

  1. Qabatia: Internal road network masterplan (22km).

  1. Tubas: Internal road network masterplan (32km) and a traffic plan for the main street.

  1. Silwad: Detailed design of the proposed Silwad-Nabluroad connector (5km).

  1. Azariyyeh/Abu Dis: Internal road network masterplan (62km).

  1. Ya’bad: Internal road network masterplan (30km).

  1. Silet El-Dhaher: Internal road network masterplan (33km).

  1. Beit Lid: Internal road network masterplan (24km).

  1. Tel: Internal road network masterplan (25km).

  1. Jabalia: Internal road network for the Jabalia Refugee Camp.
