Center, Ramallah:
This building will be located in the center of
Ramallah on the Ramallah‑Birzeit road. It will house three
commercial floors, a residential tower and an office tower.
Underground parking is available in two floors. Preliminary design
was completed in 1986.

Najah University Staff Housing Project, Nablus:
This project is
located east of Nablus and provides housing for faculty and staff at
Najah National University. The scheme consists of 174 dwellings on
about 93 dunums. The scheme provides for 96 semi‑detached units and
78 apartments in 52 buildings. The scheme also provides for gardens
and other public facilities.

Knitting Factory
Building, Beitlehem:
This
building will be located in Beitlehem on the main Jerusalem‑ Hebron
road. The proposed building centers around a knitted wear factory.
In addition it provides facilities for commercial stores and show
rooms as well as offices on the upper levels. The building consists
of 5‑floors and has a total area of approximately 3250 m2.

Hospital, Jerusalem:
Design of the mechanical, heating and solar‑assisted
domestic hot water system for the proposed extension of the main
building.

Educational
and housing facilities of the Arab Development Society,
Jericho:
A feasibility study for the construction of an
agricultural training center and housing facilities for students and
staff. The project include the preparation of detailed designs and
tender documents for the construction of a 1500m2 building
for an agricultural training program and the renovation of 8 staff
housing units, 5 student dormitories and the Society's dining hall
and other facilities. CEP is also responsible for supervision of
construction works.

The Jordan
Chemical Laboratory Factory, Beit Jala:
The project involved the expansion of the existing
factory building by constructing three additional floors with a
total area of approximately 3500m2.
CEP was also responsible for supervision of construction works.

Arab Insurance Company
Building, Nablus:
CEP provided engineering supervision services for the
project which involved the construction of a 10-stories building
including shops, offices, multi-purpose hall, a hotel, a restaurant
and many other facilities.

Al Yasmeen
Residential Complex, El Bireh:
CEP provided supervision and management services for
the project which involved the construction of 45 apartments, with a
total built-up area of about 6000 m2 and a total cost of
approximately JD 2.5 million.

Office Building, Nablus:
CEP provided design, supervise and management
services for the project which involved the expansion of the
existing building by adding four floors with a total area of about
1500m2, including
offices, multi-purpose halls and a roof restaurant.

Jericho Motels Project,
Jericho:
Jericho Tourist Village, design and supervision of a
48 dunum site including a 100-room hotel, 45 cottages, indoor and
outdoor dining facilities, swimming pools, water slides, lake and
various other facilities.

SAMED Commercial and
Residential Development, Gaza:
This major investment project consists of two towers
with a combined total floor area of approximately 30000 square
meters. Each tower consists of 15 stories above ground with a
common underground parking.

Ministry of
Economy, Trade and Industry,
Gaza:
The new premises of the Ministry of Economy, Trade
and Industry in
Gaza will be housed in a building with an ultimate total floor area
of about 7500 square meters in 15 stories. The Ministry’s premises
will be accommodated in the lower 4 stories, which will constitute
the first phase in the building construction. The design for this
building has been completed in association with Jafar Toukan and
Partners of Amman, Jordan.

of Economy, Trade and Industry, Abu Dis:
The new headquarters of the Ministry of
Economy, Trade and Industry will be housed in a building with a
total floor area of approximately 5000 square meters in five stories
located in Abu Dis. The design has been completed in association
with Jafar Tukan and Partners of Amman, Jordan.

SAMED
Cultural and
Commercial Center, Jericho:
This project is located in the proximity of
Jericho’s
town center on 8 dunums of land. The building has a four stories
structure built around a series of open inner courtyards. An array
of attached shops run along the building unified by a covered
arcade. The total floor area is approximately 22000 square meters.
The building will also house the new Municipality building, a
museum, a library and a multi-purpose hall. The preliminary design
has been carried out with Jafar Tukan and Partners of Amman, Jordan.

Palestine Securities
Exchange (PSE), Nablus:
CEP prepared tender documents, general conditions,
technical specifications, bills of quantities and drawings for the
finishing works of the PSE Project in
Nablus,
with a total area of about 1000m2. The project included
the following sections: administration, accounting, exchange hall,
training hall for customers, archives and photocopying, central
computer, services and storing. Detailed drawings prepared for the
following works: architectural works which included the removal of
some existing walls and the new design of the PSE, mechanical works
and air-conditioning, electrical works, distribution boards and the
installation of a generator, burglar and fire alarm systems and
communication systems and computers. All design works were
completed in 45 days. CEP staff supervised all works, in addition
to advertising the project for tendering, evaluating and analyzing
costs from contractors and making recommendations to the owner. CEP
staff also did the direct supervision on the quality and accuracy of
implementation of different work. The duration the implementation
period was 40 days.

Commercial
Bank of
Palestine, Gaza Branch:
CEP prepared tender documents, general conditions,
technical specifications, bills of quantities and drawings for the
finishing works of the Commercial Bank of Palestine Project in
Gaza, with a total area of about 200m2. The project
included the following sections: administration, meeting hall, and
different bank sections such as current balance, deposits and
others, iron safe and services. Detailed drawings and
specifications were prepared for the following: architectural works,
mechanical works and air-conditioning, electrical works, telephone
lines and computers, security systems against burglar and fire. All
design works were completed in two weeks. CEP staff supervised the
implementation of the work with the owner and did the revision and
approval of bills presented by the contractor. The duration of the
project was two months.

Project,
Palestine:
CEP provided design, supervision and management
services for the project, which involves construction and
rehabilitation of about 12 telecommunication centers in the Inland
and Coastal regions of
Palestine.
The works include preparation of design drawings, architectural,
electromechanical for the operations centers, the tower assessment,
radio frequency interference study and other works.

International Bank, Ramallah:
CEP provided design of the electro-mechanical works.
The bank is a five-story building with 2500 m2 total area
including basement floor, administration area, offices, vault area,
computer and communication area with all related security works and
requirements.

Abu Dis Girls School,
Abu Dis:
CEP prepared all the detailed plans and complete
documents for the construction and finishing of the school, and also
prepared full tender documents including specifications and bills of
quantities. The overall built-up area is approximately 4760 m2
which included the following facilities: class rooms for all
educational phases, multi- purpose hall with a back stage,
laboratories, computer lab, domestic work shop facilities,
administration facility areas in addition to other facilities such
as sporting and play grounds, parking area and greenery spaces.

Al-Mazra’a
El-Qibliya
Elementary Girls School, Ramallah:
CEP performed the detailed architectural, structural
and electro-mechanical design and tender documents including
specification and bills of quantities for project with a built-up
area of 1300m2 with 10 classrooms and 36 students in
each. The total construction cost of the school is estimated to be
US$ 600 000.

Seida Primary School
for Boys, Tulkarm:
CEP prepared all the detailed plans and completes
tender documents for the construction and finishing of the school.
The total proposed built-up area is 1140 m2 with 12
classrooms and 36 students in each. The building consists of two
floors 12 classrooms school with all needed spaces and services
required.

Qalqilya
secondary school for Girls, Qalqilya:
CEP prepared all the detailed plans and completes
tender documents for the construction and finishing of the school.
The total proposed built-up area is 1445 m2 the building
consists of 3 floors. A 12-classroom school with all needed spaces
and services required including educational and technical
requirements.

Al Awdeh City Housing
Project, Gaza:
The project comprises about 2500 residential units
and related public facilities, on a land area of about 141 dunums
located between A-Nasr Street and the North Shore of the City of
Gaza. In the course of achieving its design objectives, CEP carried
out a detailed analysis of the project site, prepared and completed
the required architectural and engineering designs for buildings,
roads, water distribution, stormwater drainage, sewage collection
and disposal and
electrical and telecommunications facilities.

PWA Offices Building,
Gaza:
Works included engineering design and construction
management of a 3-story building of 1200 m2 total area.

Construction of School Facilities for Basic Education in the West
Bank:
Center for
Engineering and Planning is the Co-Consultant of
Mohri, Architect and Associates, Inc. Tokyo, Japan (MAAI) for the
above cited project. The project encompasses the construction of 25
schools with total area of 54,000.00 m2 located all over
the West Bank. MAAI is the official Consultant of the Ministry of
Education, the Palestinian Authority. The project is financed under
Japan’s Grant Aid through Japan International Cooperation Agency
(JICA). It is planned to implement the project in three phases.
Phase one, which encompasses 11 schools, is under construction at
present in Hebron District. The other two phases are at design
stage at present. CEP is offering advisory services such as:
general advisory (provision of information necessary for the
implementation of the project including collection, interpretation
limited translation, and provision of relevant documents if
required), liaison office function, soil investigations, obtaining
building permits, supervising electrical, mechanical and civil

The Extension
of School Facilities in the West Bank:
The consultancy services provided by CEP included the
preparation of detailed designs, complete tender documents for the
implementation of extension of five school buildings located in five
villages west of Nablus. CEP also provided partial supervision on
implementation services. Client: ANEARA, 2000.

Construction and Expansion Project, Dura District,
Hebron Governorate:
Construction management for the construction of 5 new
schools (total 58 classrooms) and expansion of 4 existing schools
(total 27 class rooms). Total project area is approximately 10,000m2.
Project cost US$ 4,500,000. Client: USAID through Mercy Corps/ West
Bank & Gaza.
